Connected Media Named Twice in AMI Awards National Finalist List

Last night, Connected Media team members joined clients to celebrate success at the 2024 AMI Marketing Excellence Awards gala dinner, held at the iconic Zinc in Federation Square, Melbourne.

As National Finalists, we were proud to be recognised for our innovative campaigns that pushed the boundaries. It was an evening of celebration, connection, and shared success, highlighting the outstanding creativity and strategic insights that set our work apart.

AMI stated that this year’s finalists have “demonstrated exceptional creativity, strategic insight, and an in-depth understanding of their audience’s needs. From cutting-edge digital approaches to powerful social initiatives, their work has profoundly impacted their industries and beyond.”

Connected Media was named a National Finalist in two categories.

Connected Media’s work with Canon for the ‘Turn Up Your Travels’ campaign was shortlisted in the ‘Product or Service to Launch or Relaunch’ category. The campaign successfully positioned the EOS R50 as the ultimate travel companion in a market dominated by smartphones. The EOS R50 skyrocketed to top position in its category.

Natalie Le Coic, Senior Manager - Marketing Communications, Canon Oceania commented, "We're honoured to be finalists at the 2024 AMI Marketing Excellence Awards. Our 'Turn Up Your Travels' campaign, in partnership with Connected Media, strategically positioned the EOS R50 as the ultimate travel companion, breaking through a smartphone-dominated market. By focusing on travel as a key purchase driver and tapping into creator trends, we delivered tailored, impactful creative that resonated with our audience. Testing and optimising throughout the campaign ensured maximum engagement and success."

Connected Media’s work with the Australasian College of Health & Wellness (ACHW) was recognised in the ‘Small Budget Marketing’ category. The Dermal Therapy Scholarship campaign aimed to disrupt the commoditised beauty therapy education market by offering nurses a new career pathway. The campaign combined empathetic career transition opportunities with strategic marketing, leading to outstanding results.

Sevag Sarkissian from the Australian Institute of Management praised the campaign, stating, "Working with Connected has been a game-changer for us at ACHW. Together, we've dug deep into the data, spotted trends no one else saw, and turned them into action. Launching the Dermal Therapy Scholarship was just the start. We've gotten creative, shaken things up, and the results? They speak for themselves!"

We are thrilled to see our team's hard work and dedication recognised. We are proud of the incredible partnerships we've built and the outstanding work we deliver together.

Congratulations to all the category winners announced at last night’s gala dinner. Our team had a fantastic night celebrating!
